I’m thinking lots of evil sexy kitsch, crushed velvet, diamonds, lace and corsetry with the mereist nod to Victorian modesty a la Hammer Horror at its finest.

For Halloween drinks, I was given a bottle of Wedding Polinka (a type of grain spirit) by a Transylvanian on my honeymoon … it’s fiery stuff, I’d love to see it in a cocktail!

The Hound of the Baskervilles lurking in the stoke poges……..

I’d like barely dressed spider ladies high above my head, covered in silver paint and covorting in and around a giant spiders web. I’d like enormous trees packed into a room to create an enchanted forest, in the middle of which is a gingerbread house. The house can only be found if you follow the crumb trail, and inside is an excitable Hansel and Gretel leading their visitors in a (very) mini rave.

I’d love to grow glossy multihued raven’s wings and soar above all – swooping down to grasp my heart’s desire when I see it with my beady eyes, to hold it in my claws….

After attending various events at stoke place, I would like to be impressed with Horror and a true Halloween experience..

Cowards need not apply!

Sounds like a fun evening already! I’m not sure what I’d add…but ‘i know what I’d bring! My devil may care attitude & heels that won’t quit. What more could a ghoul ask for 🙂 xxx

Yards of red velvet and black lace to create the ultimate gothic atmosphere. Hundreds of candles and lanterns giving everything an eerie glow, and casting shadows into corners…who knows what might be going on?

Lots of chilled and chilling champagne and some very bloody marys should ensure things go bump in the night, served up by ghoulish but gorgeous bar staff disguised as Victorian maids and butlers.

In short, a devilishly indulgent night of frighteningly good fun.

See: ‘Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell’ by the light of burning torches.

Hear: the sighs of Miss Havisham.

Drink: the tears of Bela Lugosi.

Do: Play a few games of ‘Is that you Moriarty?’ with rolled up obituary notices or perhaps do something that Mary and Percy Bysshe Shelley once did on Mary Wollstonecraft’s grave.
